Our Projects

We are proud to announce that we have been awarded to do a project called ‘Need in Deed’ which will provide a befriending service.

We are revamping our service to have different befriending service attached to our service with the types of brefriending we are offering being:

  • Virtual befrienders - providing online support mainly via messages and signposting were necessary
  • Comfort and peace befrienders - these befrienders will be for someone grieving or going through an issue that they need comfort.
  • Christian befrienders - for those who want prayers.
  • Telephone befrienders -these offer immediate general advice and signposting and may offer advocacy (priority is given to people living in Essex area for this service)
  • Family dispute befrienders - these can be mediators or offer marriage counselling
